Thanks for the helpful replies so far. I hope you all don't mind that I dived in with a slightly controversial subject line. We are a new business and we started from scratch with the accounting as the primary functionality with no previous system in place or parallel running etc. My wife is a highly capable accounts person who has 30 years experience and has worked with numerous packages in accounting firms and other businesses. She can relate to several current packages including TAS, Sage, MYOB Accounting Plus etc. This means she can easily say 'this does / or not do x,y and z' and can prove it to me. We are 75% owned by our parent in Singapore who expect detailed and accurate accounting information on at least a monthly basis including a Balance Sheet. When I feel things are stable they will have remote / 'real time' access. If we can 'pull out the stops' with the new regime then I will be pleased to put time and effort in at this end and will commit to the Web Cart as soon as possible. I would have expected to have been running a cart by now and not having one is holding up our development plans. By the way looks like there are only a handful of companies contributing to this forum? Thanks again.
