Nigel, honestly, If your just starting out save yourself a lot of heartache and leave customer focus behind, I know it probably constitutes a big investment but I would cut my losses and go microsoft. I am by no means microsoft's biggest fan but it does offer more reliable, compatible & integrated solutions that can be easily accessed remotely. I'm sure customer focus won't be best pleased with this recommendation but after being told different things by different people, having functionality arbitrarily added or removed that has meant us having to change our business processes and having to wait months for, what we considered, critical issues to be resolved, can you blame me. I am trying to move forward with customer focus because we have it now and have to make the best of it but I would suggest that anyone is better off finding an alternative solution, especially when you have to produce critical reports to people with significant investments in your business. The balance sheet by the way is something that I have been told doesn't work and there are no plans for it's further development.
